FL is going to have the usual issue of players trying to cash in. Bennett and the rat probably looking for big pay days. I think Ekblad will need a new contract too.

I think part of Tkachuk leaving was he wanted to be in the US, covid stranded him in Calgary away from his family and friends. He's still not captain in Florida, so I would hope that wasn't a sticking point. It's funny hearing a Flames fan complain about Marchand, he's been killing the leafs year after year which is all I hear about on the east coast.

4 strong lines vs McDavid and Draisaitl together and then pray the next 3 shifts. Who could have predicted it.

^^^ You forgot the part about the Oilers trotting out a couple of goalies that would struggle to stay on most teams as the backup goalie, let alone a starter.
