As a fellow Celtics fan, you should be used to that by now.

LOWER THE RIMS, I get so bored of watching jump shots and lay ups! Drives me crazy!! Pretty much the only women’s sport I can’t watch

I only say it because basketball is one of my favorite sports. I wouldn’t watch men’s ncaa or nba if they played on 13’ hoops. It’s just so obvious to me, don’t want to offend and yes I won’t watch

The idea that the game is only fun to watch if it's played above the rim, such that they should lower the women's rim, is really weird to me. I like watching the game where the goal is putting the ball in the basket, I don't care if it's full of dunks or not. It's still mostly shooting and dribbling and passing.
You already said you didn't like it, so you think they should make all sorts of changes to the game on the chance that you will change your mind? Or instead cater to the fans who are really enjoying it?
Maybe we should just get men players and give them wigs and call it women's basketball so that you will enjoy it, because it's all about you?
I didn’t come up with the idea nor am I the only one saying it should happen. They are already using a smaller ball. Lowering the rim doesn’t seem like such a quantum leap.
Sports evolve and adapt through rule and equipment changes. Football just did it. Baseball has done it. Basketball has certainly done it. But if women’s basketball doesn’t want to do it, Id rather they not force feed me shitty marketing for their shitty product. Sorry for the naughty opinion.

I like to watch women's curling on TV.
9:40 tip tonight? That’s stupid.
All major sporting events starting late on a weeknight is stupid. So is having the Super Bowl on a Sunday while I’m at it.

Woah, Cal is taking the Walmart school job. what the fuck. I know we were talking about it up thread but I didn’t think it would be this year. Does Jay Wright come off the set? Pitino? Nate Oats?

2024 bringing it back to the Nutmeg state.
The Iowa-SC game was the most watched basketball game — college or pro, men’s or women’s — since 2019. That's pretty awesome.
Yea it appears the current rules are just fine. I watch a LOT of college basketball - benefit of my wife working for a university athletic department as a side gig to her professor job and I enjoy the women’s games as much if not more than the men’s.
