This is a totally uninformed guess, but methinks he’ll rock the Qs for some comps, he had some great runs on those things last year. That cat track crash was so unfortunate, that was such a killer, creative run.

Second day on my 182 Qs. Snowed 8 inches yesterday at breck, today was mostly packed powder groomers and shallow bumps, although I found some powder stashes in the trees. Length was perfect today. Never felt any chatter or that it was unstable at speed.
Love this ski, arguably my new favorite. It’s just so easy and fun. Billygoats with ease in tight trees. The shallow moguls were a blast, was skiing very fluid and fast. Can rail down groomers with big gs turns as well.
Totally sold on the heavy/veneer/carbon layup now. Very smooth, damp, but energetic. Loads of fun. Combined with FKS 180s I think it’s the perfect resort setup.
The ski really does not feel like 118 underfoot, more like 100 or 108. Asymmetrical sidecut seems to do its job, I really enjoy how they turn.
Overall they feel more nimble, more surfy, and considerably more damp than my old 187 enduro Nylon GPOs. Maybe slightly worse holding a tight edge down icy groomers
Of all the skis I’ve ever been on this would be my one ski quiver hands down I think. Would like to get it out info deep light powder to see how it fares there

I’d agree that they aren’t really a jib ski. Quick, slashy, surfy, and poppy yes
The increase in quickness over my GPOs could be partially attributed to the -5cm decrease in length as well
