You're absolutely right...that was a bit of a snarky comment on my part. I've stated often how much we admire the ON3P folks but we're just a different company. I don't necessarily see it as arrogant, rather I see it as being proud of the products we produce. It'd be strange to go around and say that we make a somewhat mediocre product just to come across as humble. We're extremely proud of our shapes, bondings and art and after doing this for a long time, I think it's safe to say that we're making some of the best skis around.

Regarding the site: The info on the two arlos seems to be mixed up with each other. Also the dimensions ( 123-127-130-121-116 ) on the 130? indicates It’s a full on reverse/reverse is that true?

Yes, the Arlo, since it's a completely revamped model, a lot of the information was incorrectly described. It's updated now and should all be accurate. The entire Arlo Collection is completely full-reverse camber and we're stoked on the looks of that profile.

Thanks for the stoke and sorry that the Arlo Collection is a bit of a shitshow at the moment. However, it'll be updated and both widths are completely full-reverse cambered skis. We've always admired the early Hoji profiles as well as the better profiles that Volkl is known for and that's what we were attempting to recreate. And, some extensive prototyping, we're incredibly happy with the result.

I do apologize for coming across as a bit snarky in that comment. However, I don't think it's arrogant to genuinely believe (after seeing and skiing multiple company's skis) that we're making a better product in a more environmentally friendly way. We live in the mountains and ski a ton...that's it. We don't live in Portland or Denver where it takes two plus hours to go test your product. I have consistently spoken nothing but praises of the ON3P folks but we're just a different company and brand. Skiing is our priority and making incredibly good skis falls just behind that.

This is all taken care of for the most part and I'm sorry that it was super confusing for a minute. The Arlo Collection of skis is gonna blow the socks off of people.

Hey there, I lurk frequently at Lithic and ski lots of their stuff- I’ve owned two different pairs of Joplins 98’s and also Cohen 110 and 118’s.
My thoughts...
Joplin: longer camber section and effective edge; more traditional shape but remodeled last season to be more lively, mainly with more tail rise. It’s an energetic, confident ski for directional skiing. Rewards shin pressure/forward driving style.

Cohen: more rocker, more taper; progressive shape more oriented to soft snow, and prefers a more centered skiing stance. Better for switch skiing also.

Both can charge or play, but they do have distinct personalities. Also, I haven’t specifically been on the Joplin 106. For shift/cast I’d stick to the inbounds core.

So first Moment, now ON3P - which brand will the next target? Good that you at least give a bit of homage to what designs you are emulating re above, in those cases where it is not obvious.

Gutsy choice wrt graphics this year. Not for me - unlike your last two ranges that were occasionally brilliant, but they probably look really nice in person. Not that it really matters for me, your prices are cost prohibitive in my case regardless.

It probably wouldn't hurt if you could include mount info / recommended mount point on the various designs.

But overall - nice progression and good on you for continuing to evolve and build upon the solid base that was already in place. :)

You're absolutely right and sorry for the previous snarky responses. I've actually tried a few times to qualify my comments but haven't been able to successfully navigate this forum with the 'reply with quote" function. That's neither here nor there, but it's certainly not a good excuse. Aside from that, we're extremely proud of our skis and it's completely my fault if that came across as arrogant. We genuinely appreciate the feedback from this community and would love to keep the dialogue going and also participate in communal cyber snow dances for the upcoming winter, which is sure to be a good one!

Wow! Now that is what I call a PSA!! I’d jump on em in a second but I also just completely depleted all ski funds and then some for the season and would prefer not to get divorced this winter... GREAT find!!

I have the Cohen 110 and love them, just got the fletchers this year an those things are amazing-put the zed12 on them and been ripping up at hwy 20 this season having a blast

Looks sweet, like a skinny Praxis Protest.
No time on them.

Cohen 110s rip like a boss. Just got on mine at crystal today for the first time in a few weeks. Such a nicely stompable ski that can charge through the post-pow crud. Highly recommend.

I picked these up from the shop yesterday. February is prototyping season, and Paul had some ideas to try out- these have a lighter core than the catalog backcountry core option, destined for pow hunting. I’ve been yearning to try out the Townes 117, (formerly Skunkworks 117), so we went with that shape in a 180. Skis weigh 1700g flat. I’m headed to the Stevens area this morning, hoping the 117 waist helps that 3” feel deeper....Attachment 367984

Catching up here on lithic... saw the “early hoji designs” reference and then the townes 117 shape and immediately jumped to an EHP clone, which I’m always on the look out for. But 1700 gr is light light light. My EHPs are >2300
