They have a spot here in Aspen as well now.
Good chicago pub style pizza.

Why are you going to Richfield?

GF's dad lives there
Bring the bike. According to an SLC buddy, Richfield has legit mtb trails now.
Super legit. And world class paragliding. I got a bunch of friends that live in Monroe.
It's a beautiful area.

I concur. But the outside area was nice, and we met some nice folks. Beers were good. I had a Korean Fried Chicken Sandwich and it was as good as any I've had. But I'd say the service was no better at Hot Tomato. I love when restaurants have quirky ordering systems and act like you are stupid when you aren't with the program. Small town stuff though, it wasn't horrible to the point of ruining our time there. Hot Tomato beer selection was good.
I can vouch for it, I've eaten there many times. It's awesome. Tamarisk is a nice sit down restaurant looking over the river, surprisingly good. Run by resauranteers from the 'Big City'. Ray's is great for a beer and burger, a bit overrated because frozen burger patties have a limit so I don't get why people rave about rays. Chow Hound is nostalgic cheap burgers - fries - ice cream local kinda place.
I've been pulling off the hwy for the taco truck for many years. It is excellent. Highly recommend the carnitas torta.
In Richfield you also have the hippy hot springs, but there is a free one there as well if you look hard enough.
If you are blowing by Eagle, stop by https://www.pickledkitchenpantry.com/ it's right off the exit on the north side. Excellent lunch spot.
The riding in Richfield is great. It sounds like the shuttles are dropping off at Middle Spinal Tap currently, set aside a half day to do that.
Can also confirm the Green River taco truck is worth a stop. Still haven't ate at Tamarisk but have heard good things from multiple friends.
Smash burger at base camp provisions made me forget the walk up counter w 'servers' recently. This model has spread across the Grand Valley. Not a fan either.
Since moving to the SW I have been a big fan of the Absolute Bakery in Mancos. After making my 4th visit I have decided the Moondog cannot replace it. Too sweet and too expensive.
Stopped at Coffee Bean and Bakery in Pine and was really impressed. Take a few cinnamon rolls to go.

A few of my faves:
The Al Pastor @ Oaxacan Bites in Breck
The Sun-Up Crispy Bowl @ Enza's in Silverthorne
Anything @ Pickled. in Eagle
Al Pastor, Asada @ Julios Tacos in BV
Breakfast @ Joy's Kitchen in Empire
Skip the taco truck at Farmer's Korner.
Probably of most value to those driving to Steamboat, K Town actually has good for how. As it better than the rest of the dog shit in Grand County.
Lance Chance Pizza - Really good, sit down or to go. If you are starved, taking down a 10" is the way. And about $15 which is refreshing in the world of $40 pies. Next to Maverick. Open until 9.
Grand Old West - The old Quarter Circle. Just good home cooked comfort food. French Dip, Burgers, Chicken Fried Steak and so on.
Ate at Grand West a while back. It was great from what I remember. Used to date a girl that lived in Kremmling back in the late 90's. We hung out at the Quarter Circle and played pool a lot.
Los Amigos is also awesome traditional mx food.
There's a Last Chance in Summit too near my house, unfortunately the pizza leaves something to be desired at that one. They also own the liquor store, coffee chop, and beer bar. So they have the complex on lock down. I support the liquor store at a high level.
I think those Last Chances are different which is odd given the proximity.
Oh man, the QC. I'm sure we crossed paths. Back then is was really only cowboys and dirtbags. Only of my good friends grew up on a ranch by Wolford so I've been on the inside their forever. His family actually owns the GOW now. It really was about how the country song goes.

Also, the Parshall Inn is a cool place. The food can be a bit hit or miss but its an old school lounge of which we have few.
