I'd hit the river over higs. The surf sites don't know how that spot pulls in the S like magic. Bathymetry is where it is at. And it is much shorter drive coming from nh. Moody had some solo knee high last night. I might hit the river in the mornin to float and shoot some pics.

That storm last night was epic. A few months ago I was reading a story to my son and it had a thunderstorm in it. I told him we did not really get them where we live and semi promised we would see one on the east coast. Last night delivered and he we stoked, sitting on the couch, looking out the window and saying "crash,boom!" And then then the triple rainbow happened. Good stuff.

Odd, I've talked about it forever but never been to bali. It's hard to pass over all those South Pacific islands within an 8-10 hour strike. Tahiti, Moorea, W. Samoa and a few other low key islands. So many more to visit...mmm mmm good.
i guess if you've the budget. bali was/is? cheap. but the west coast > east coast there too.
