Naima. Our buddy Hobbit's girl.
" Don’t worry…at this point, I am totally conditioned to double check the refrigerator when accessing and when leaving the apt and even as part of my bed time ritual. Who’s in control here? "
Should have posted this last week but ... better late than never:

DRAT YOU INTERNETS!
Don't be fooled - she's the devil incarnate. Used to belong to my neighbor down the road but neighbor added a dog to the family and she packed her bags and headed west to my farm now she lives in the house!

I knew a calico named Lillian in Montana who associated with some old hippies from Deer Lodge and Missoula.
They would take her up the the family cabin on Rock Creek Lake and that little thing would bring in a kill a day, usually a rabbit.
She would eat the whole thing and leave the ears.
Another local had a big Akita/Malamute mix named Rudy.
Rudy and Lil hated one another. Rudy would try to kill Lil and everyone would try to protect Rudy because that cat was so viscious.
Lil was another case.
too funny. i had a tortoise shell named jake (yes, female) for 18 years who i got shortly after death and mayhem entered my young life and she was a great adventurer and friend. i took her camping in my bus to dead shows and she would hang out on her leash on the nose spare while i cooked or hung out. dogs everywhere but people were always exuberant to see a cat at a dead show. she got much love from many, many happy people and loved the sights and sounds and smells.
I can do without the laugh track, but this is still funny
I had a neighbors cat come live with me, he lived in the basement and loved the wood stove.
The neighbors were great people and would come get Toby once a year for the vet check up and regularly brought canned food for him until they moved away.
An old one (photo contest winner) but way coolAttachment 196340
This is so cool, the cat is so unflapped:
What's really good is all the hysteria the Sierra Club and Nature Conservancy have pumped into the supposed negative impact of ski areas on Lynx habitat.
