Definitely wait for fall moisture to hit the skidders. The fun factor drops a bit when they're blown out. The window to ride them in good conditions is short, especially now that they're on the map and very popular.
I remember riding them a bunch early season last year then taking 3 months off to recover from a shoulder issue and dropping back in as if things were unchanged. I had a dozen close calls in the first minute and had to reel it in hard.
Granted if you ride them now and have a good time you're in for a treat when you get to ride them in good conditions.
