jesus choke by tiger giant choke by johnson
unfuckingbelievable
clutch up and down for tiger, especially after johnson holing it.
this is a fun one for sure... roller coaster!
and finally, a repeat of tiger's earlier choke leaving it in the bunker. that's gotta hurt. johnson hasn't ever had any fear of him as far as i remember.
they were afraid of tiger for a long time. what was his record in playoffs? 11-1?
What a game. I don't mean today's match as I didn't see it. I'm talking a game where you can shoot 62 one day and 72 the next on the same course. A game where a 53 yd shot with luck can trump a par in the end.
I once hit 16 of 18 GIR and shot two over with no birdies. Aside from the out of body experience, it was the most boring round of golf I ever played.
I played TPC Stonebrae today. Shot 92. I was expecting a 90. I've been thinking about joining there for a long time and had never played. It's not for me. I like it but it's not worth the considerable commitment. Very difficult course.

I'm going to Diablo Grande tomorrow. The Legends and The Ranch are still my two favorite courses.

I'm going to renew my membership at Oakland Metro. Best value in Bay Area golf.
80 degrees today at Diablo Grande. Beautiful course in great condition. Shot 89 and happy with that.
Probably won't affect my index...yet. I hit the ball really well at the end of the round as my tempo started to return. Played at 6800 yds.

Record temperatures in Oakland. Metro greens in beautiful condition. Shot 82 with a penalty shot and lots of missed putts. I struck my putts well so there is some hope. The annual golf trip in July is planned for Whistling Straits and I don't really want to go.. I'd rather go to Sunriver and Bend.
I'll be in Denver this weekend to escape the Xgames idiocy, NOAA is saying 62 and sunny on Saturday... thinking about bringing my golf clubs. Looking for some beta on courses, do you local guys have any suggestions? Is there a "go-to" winter course?
4matic and other Bay Area folks- any recs for cheapish rounds this weekend?
Im getting kind of tired of San Geronimo/Presidio/Stonetree and am looking to try out some new courses.
step. 1: picked up all the range balls in the yard with the kid.
step. 2: clean up the yard
step 3: find another pitching wedge since some nice fellow decided not to return it.
step 4: start working short game again after a few months (and several pounds)
step 5: talk about the mundane thoughts i have about golf in here as much as possible.
step 6: ride my fucking brains out when ullr starts fucking dumping again god fucking dammit.
ya spook, drop #5 and double #6 and you're on to something! :D ;)
The only thing sadder than spoke and his inane commentary, is that it's late January you guys are golfing.
It's really the best time of year to play in California. The greens aren't baked or contaminated by groundwater and the winds are down. The only problem is the days are short and play gets compressed so it's not likely to get untethered rounds.
I want to be swinging the stix in CA really bad right now.
