kid was stoked to hang with Tanner Hall at Mammoth today
OB said Tanner was super cool - introduced himself as if he didn’t expect Owen would know who he was - OB told Tanner how much better he was than him
Attachment 464857
Tanner is a really nice person, I always enjoy crossing paths with him. Glad Owen got that same experience.
yeah he’s a good guy
Agreed. Met tanner around 2012. He was a nice guy.

Good to see you and the boy gettin after it, Mike.
Some sad anti stoke. Older daughter blew L ACL on Sunday at Mt Hood. Maybe this should go in the being a father thread…she’s devastated, was skiing really well. Hopefully be back in a year…if she wants to be. Attachment 465544
So sorry. An ACL is a year of everything going well. As you all well know.
Gawd look at those edge angles.
With no spray.
Got a touch, she does.
You did buy that photo, yes?
Deja vu. Love...
Definitely purchased. I think I’m gonna wait to get em framed…2 days later at western SL development camp she had a nothing fall. Perfect backward twisting, slow speed. Funny thing is she’s not really unstable, so damn strong.
stoked kid visiting my little sister in Orange Beach, Alabama

Youngest racing Tera’s and who knew North American champs would be held at the Jordenelle in Utah this weekend???? She’s having a blast. Attachment 469223
I’ve got a kid gear question. My 12 year old ripper needs some new bindings for a new set of skis he has. His new boots are K2 Mindbemder Jr….90 flex. We’d like for him to use this setup to tour as well. He is an aggressive skier so back/front flips, 720s/900s, cliff drops, etc…..would shift bindings be burly enough for him inbounds? Would I be better off getting him something like the Jester? OR….get him regular bindings and get him a totally different touring setup?
