I think it is tied with overland certified twine to the roof top tent!
Anyone know what the blue things on the doors are?

Seen in Forks, WA. I can only assume they were doing Twilight tours.Attachment 421775Attachment 421776
Ultra rare sighting: GOTOS rig out of its natural habitat and in the woods. Not a great photo of it, but the pickup at the rear of the photo has at least condiment containers and traction boards.Attachment 421777

^lol…what is going on up there?
What’s with the “do not cross” police line?
Talking to someone who has the vid or is cautious of the Co Co.
Someone has basically done that here. I think I posted about these guys way up-thread, but I can only assume they've been raking in cash the last few years. They've got a fleet of semi/full-GOTOS jeeps.
https://www.aspenjeeps.com/
$450/day plus $90/day to have a RTT added. Some of their rigs are 8-10+ pt GOTOS Basic Bitch models with lights+racks+empty sauce bottles. I see the same dad's-money, $3000 custom-felt-hat types driving a lifted Gladiator or Wrangler Unlimited around town, weekly, [always on pavement] grinning but somewhat confused and disappointed.
Re: aspenjeeps
1) do they really all have a big ass sticker in the front window? If i was paying dearly for a rental, i wouldn’t want the hoi polloi to know that…maybe you can pay extra to lose the in-your-face branding?
2) Wow, didn’t realize there was such a thing as an E-balance bike for littles…trying to figure how that works: they’re on a balance bike cuz they’re learning & you give them a throttle?
I’m just here for the tiktoks with kids riding headfirst into fences, cars, holes, trenches, bushes, etc
1) - 100% yes and impossibly obnoxious. There are dozens, maybe hundreds of similar semi-GOTOS jeep/4wd's rolling around this valley, but theirs take the cake with the hudge windshield stickers.
The whole thing really adds to the amazing tension I sense between social-media-fueled narcissism ("I need a cool jeep when I'm in the mountains") and a rich person's presumed aversion to such tacky and overt branding.
New England Forest Rally. GOTOS drivers are getting ready to watch cars go by really fast, event volunteer is confirming that they understand to stay on their side of the banner tape until the stage is fully done.

^^^ well that actually sounds cool.
also re: the jeep at Takysie Lake, that's middle of nowhere BC. Aside from the tacky branding decals, that guy's actually getting after it.
pretty close to the geographic middle of BC which is Vanderhoof, we did a bike tour across the province to just short of Nazko on gravel last summer, buddy the organizer asked if i wanted to do another off the beaten track tour this summer but fortunately there is nowhere to charge my E-bike
You would think so. It’s not the middle of nowhere but one can see the middle of nowhere from a tall hill in the area.
There is a gravel road right up the hill there. The same gravel road my mom drove her 2 successive Honda accords the 40 km from our farm to her job teaching on the res for 35 years.
So one guys “getting after it” is another’s “commute”
But the Takysie Lake store is no Trader Joes - so point taken.
Man to think I was getting after it on the school bus every day.
I mean I was, and she was cute - but I wasn’t getting any of it.

Apparently so

Ha! yeah, middle of nowhere is relative, but your typical Vancouverite would say PG is "in the north" and couldn't point to Smithers on an unlabeled map.
Whether that guy was doing his weekly shopping or looking for a place to camp, he's still more legit than ninety-something percent of the poseurs in this thread. I live walking distance from Trader Joe's, and see an uncountable number of conspicuously spendy vans/trucks that have never been anywhere remotely remote.

So I see two mustards and a mayonnaise container, but what is the orange condiment? It is truly orange, not faded red
