Thought my season was done when I dislocated my shoulder in late March.
Shoulder is probably 75% healed and my PT gave me the nod so I'm hitting the Beast tomorrow. Will be there for opening bell and will likely quit early. Gotta go scrape storage wax off a pair of skis.

Wow, that’s looking tasty. I still have one day on my IKON, will they groom again Sunday morning, or have they been letting it go to full bumps? Would love to get some smooth laps and then get a few bumps in the afternoon.

My neighbor who never posts (LaneMeyer) and I arrived in Bay 3 right behind Vt-f.
Didn't see M-Jong but did see his ride...12 pack of UC on the console. Upstate AF!
Got in line after the initial glut and we were rewarded with several laps of generally low-people-density skiing.
Headwall bumped up by lap 4 and the rest of it by lap 6. Not huge bumps but I suspect they will be tomorrow.

A little later we ran into bucket and then Goniff.
Glad I went. I can attest that 2 months of no skiing will definitely cause you to lose any semblance of ski legs. 10 laps and it was beer o'clock.
