Lubricants will do that.
I rode Sunday, got to the trail head and realized I hadn't done some necessary maintenance on my front brake, which meant it was unusable. Rode the 2 hour ride with no front brake. Interestingly, the front brake didn't squeal once. Totally silent.
You could try that solution.
My brain is exploding at the notion of WD40 on rotors.

Probably gonna give this a go with some stuff around the shop.

Why can't they invent a better presta valve core that is easier to remove? To make matters worse, I have the tiny little wrench and you get a very little turn before you hit the spoke and have to flip it over another 20 times before the values is out. Guess part of it is on me, need a better tool but still...
You could also get some Problem Solvers P-Nuts, problem solved.

Don't you have one of these tools? Seems like they always come with wheelsets or tubeless valves.

I'm not sure I've ever tightened a presta core more than finger tight. Never had an issue.
Exactly. If you are overtightening your valve stem, the problem is probably your tape job.
I need to remember eye wear and ear protection next time. Didn’t even occurred to me when I set up my first and only tire so far. LBS couldn’t get it seal. They found a ding on the rim and offered to sell me a new wheel or a tube. I went with a cheaper option for a few months then decided to investigate. The ding turned out to be a tiny thing that I easily bended back with adjustable wrench. Retaped the rim with gorilla tape, bought a small compressor from harbor freight and sealed the tire on the first try! Getting tire on and off was a chore tho.
tldr: congrats on your perfect shit.
Since so many of the rants are over stupid non standards in the industry, I thought this would fit in right about... here.
