This one had it all, including a rack of some sort on top of the roof top tent. It was hard to capture all the accessories strapped to it but most of it looked brand new and unused.
A caution to those newly gotos...
Make sure your license plate is fully visible from behind when kitted up for travel or in many states you are an open invitation for a popo visit.
Yeah right. I always figured an overweight rec setup with obscured tag was the best way to smuggle drugs or people because I see such rigs driving around with impunity on a frequent basis. Wow. Great find. Maybe there's a weedwhacker and leaf blower in that hard case, because I can't think why he needs those gas cans. With the lack of clearance and knobby tires he's always going to be in range of a gas station
Probably an instagrammer/youtuber. Drives out somewhere and runs passes until they get the clips. The cans buy them a couple hundred miles or few extra hours, the hard case holds tripods/film gear.
Probably an IGer, but nobody stores camera gear on the roof. It’s not like he doesn’t have storage space in a wagon. It’s all just for looks IMO. You really more range? Install a second tank.
