I was raised a racer from the Midwest who moved to Utah to chase gates and dreams in my teens… I now have daughters near Mikaela’s age who I encouraged/hoped might catch the bug. They love to ski, put prefer powder over bashing gates, and never caught the race bug as I hoped.Quote:

It was amazing watching Vhlova and Shiffrin in the second run. The other 28 were flailing and Petra and especially Mikaela skied it like it was an easy training set. Simply at another level and the only way one of these 2 doesn't win is if they make a mistake.
