Anyhow. People that don't need them are making things harder for people that do.
My son is in 7th grade and just met with the HS golf coach to show his swing to see if he might be able to play on hs team.
We've been having a lot of issues with his grades lately.
Coach called and said he would likely make the team but they won't take him because of his grades.
Turn that into a positive - he still has time to work on the grades before the main high school years. Work with him on a goal of improving those grades. Find tutors as needed. Just like skiing, they learn and listen better to others. Maybe that high school coach will help provide that motivation with a pep talk about grades.Quote:
