I'm trying to talk the missus into it! May have to go solo. :D Depending on where you are coming from, I prefer Boulder Theater (easy parking, re-entry, self serve water stations, etc).

All the elements of a good CW song
- pedal steel
- mandolin
- references to Nashville
- tribute to Hank Williams Sr

it ain’t country but thirteen minutes in this good old boy goes insane on surf guitar.
It’s an earlier show. Weird that the video is spliced like that.
Serious talent. Thx.
Never heard of Junior Brown? Get the fuck outta here

I enjoy it but kind of loathe his voice. I haven't caught up in a year or two. THanks for the reminder.
Yeah, I saw 'em in SLC a few yrs back. Great show!
Whoa. They’ve changed their sounds since the last time I listened

Its hard to pick one so i won't. After recently getting amazon music i put together a "twang" playlist. Outlaw country, bluegrass, southern rock etc. Just the best hits of greats of outlaw country. Waylon, Willie, johnny, george, merle etc. Put some Chris stapleton in.Then got into Sturgil Simpsons library. Soooo many good tunes. That guy is an outlaw country hit machine. Hard to find a bad tune. Great band. A bunch of good lines.
Trampled by turtles have a bunch of good tunes too.

Your playlist is missing your fellow Canadians. Colter Wall, Corb Lund, The Dead South, probably some more that don't immediately come to mind.
Noted. Thanks

His yt channel is just a tiny bit of his stuff and id probably chose everything but those on his channel . Not thst theyre bad but his over all library , to me, makes him the goat. Old school outlaw that you'd mistake him for tge legends to wicked blue grass picking
No folksy or cry in your beer , unless its rockin, for me. Definitely none of the current pop that theyre calling country

And double apologies for the links instead of imbeds (can’t figure out how to embed a YT Playlist…)
