I just graduated college, I'm in the nyc area, will take trips whenever possible, have a Subaru wagon with a rocket box on top, that means me and 3 others, 4 if you wana pack in the back, Im more than happy to drive, if splitting gas isnt a problem with you and driving an occasional leg of the ride (have to drive manual) isn't a problem. As the season approaches I'm sure everyone will be in contact.
You might want to check in with the EC roll call to introduce yourself, it's just summer bickering and lots of green pictures right now but things will pick up again in the fall. I leave from Queens to go skiing, where are you located?Quote:

Living in BK (obviously) and looking for anyone who is ridin' the Bush this year. I bought the FOR20S pass and I'm looking for serious NYC Mags, especially those who like to tour. I have an AWD vehicle and I'm looking for touring partners or just a crew to ski with this winter. My best friend also has the Bush pass but he won't ski nearly as often as I. Anyone who got the FOR20S pass PM me. I'm looking to score at least 15 - 20 days at the Bush this year, so if you wanna ride and split gas costs w/ me give me a shout.

I have the For20s pass too up at the Bush this year. Sometimes I'll have space in my car on the way up but I live in Westchester. Every now and then I might be game to grab a ride, usually I go up with my gf and labrador but she probably won't ride a ton this year, final semester for her master's program and I'm looking to get some people to tour with this year.
Still some tickets left, I'm going, hopefully there'll be some free lift tickets being given away and such. I think they just keep upping the amount of tickets so I'm going to try and get there early.

alright people the plan is to go to bar 75 on 75th between Columbus Ave & Amsterdam Ave around 7:45pm. I'll be rolling with one or two friends. Will be there for about an hr before walking down to the venue on 67th.
^^^Sounds good, I'll be heading in to watch the movie as well. Doors open at 8. In the past they have had some freebies beforehand, and some pros there as well, which I think are always fun to talk to and hang out with.
I'm not feeling great so I'm gonna bail on drinks but I'll be at the venue around 8:30pm for the movie. tried calling the box office but no answer so I assume it is still on.

Once we get some snow anyone looking to do some touring around Lake Placid or the Presidential's? I just got my first touring rig and I'm eager to try it out.
Probably try and split my time between the daks and southern VT lift riding.
Will, definitely jong tendencies on my part. When I told you this thread got deleted, I was looking for this thread in Summits, not Hook-up. My bad.
I'm coaching at Magic this year, and not sure what my schedule is going to be, but I'm always down for some touring. I'd like to do some exploring in the Daks more so than the presidentials, just because it's closer and a weekend trip is way more durable and less taxing. Also, I know that ML242 is in the same boat with regards to exploring the Daks, I'm sure he'd be in as well.Quote:

Looks like there's a chance the weather is going to be taking a turn for the better. 10 Day forecast says 3 days of snow in the next 10 up at Sugarbush. Anyone plan on heading up there around new years? I'll be up there riding regardless, may head up to Jay if things are better up a little further.
I'm also in for some trips up to the daks for a little touring. I have a heavy setup with dukes and such but I'm down for sure.
I'll be heading up to VT the night of the 29th and skiing 30/31th.
