This was a free ramp for the last couple of years, one of the few places on Strawberry you could put on for free. They put in a forest service style shitter and two picnic tables this year. When I saw that I knew the inevitable was coming.

It sucks to see our access being taken away slowly but surely. I don’t need a ramp, I don’t need a shitter. I’d just like to access the public waterways.

I don't really advocate destruction of property, I wouldn't do it myself, but it pleases me to muse about it when I am irritated.
Perhaps the smoke in recent days has me a bit irritable, but fortunately we have some pleasantly cool weather in the offing. Today it has only reached 75 degrees, with an overcast sky, which prompted me to go fishing. I haven't been out much since returning from "Big Cutthroat Creek", but I had a good feeling about today. The trico hatch was minimal, but I got a nice fish early on a Pat's RL. Three other fish took three different drys, a parachute trico, a purple chubby, and a parachute Adams.
