Not sure if it was money or also heard that he wanted to be captain and they wouldn't promise it. Treliving fucked the team over. Not necessarily in trading him, but immediately signing Huberdeau and Kadri to huge contracts, and selling Monahan to the habs for a 1st rounder. They'll be stuck in mediocrity for the next decade.
evdog, that is some pretty damn good insight there. I do not disagree with anything you said and feel better informed. It certainly continues to be not easy being a Flames fan. I have the double horse hair shirt in that I also root for the Sask Riders.
Well, I hope the FL team unravels a bit this off-season. They're too damn good.
