it's not even close. it invariably has a terrible extra smell and flavor. i'm a garlic addict. there is no such thing as too much in my house.

It works well IMO. Use the heel of your hand and short back & forth rolls with a fair amount of pressure and those skins will be off in no time.

The first person's review has some good points.

Having your dogs freak out when you come home from work like you are the greatest person on the planet. Which to them you are.
I swear both my dogs smile ear to ear when they hear the garage door open.
