Additionally, to earn the seal of approval fuels cannot contain metallic additives, which are potentially harmful to automotive emissions-control systems.
Simply put, Studzinski said Top Tier gasoline is “a higher level of detergency, which keeps your engine running optimally.”
I'll still fill up occasionally at a Union 76 or Chevron for their gas detergent additives.

Just read a report that AAA thinks as prices might get down into the $1.00 range this year. Not seen since 1999.

You need $15 crude to see $1 gas anywhere. It could happen.
Crude down 5.5% today and gasoline only down 1.5%.

its actually a little ridiculous at this point. I average around 1.55 for regular unleaded. Then I am able to purchase $50 gas cards from the local grocer for $40 if you are a frequent shopper which i am. then a competing grocer opened and offerd an additional $10 coupon, so for the last few weeks I have been buying $50 gas cards for Shell, BP or Exxon/Mobil for $30. Which is a 40% reduction so I am paying the equivalent of around .93-.95 per gallon. I have a huge stash of the prepaid cards at this point. Honestly, it is quite ridiculous to be paying so little for gasoline.Quote:
