Run for the hills!
Or away from them?
But at least stay away from the public schools, since immunization isn't required in VT:

Now I'm just waiting for some snow to cover up the leaves.
Me: Do not get this dog (Yellow Lab)
Mrs MNIAW: But she's so cute
Me: I will have nothing to do with this dog
Mrs MNIAW: I'm going to train her to be a therapy dog
Me: I'll just shut up now to avoid the fight

Kallin for snows this weekender in Canaan. Get your Sandy on.
Anyone have recommendations for a shop somewhere between Hartford, CT and Killington, VT who could mount up some Sollyfit Plates? I know, "Mount your own skis, JONG!" But I don't have a workshop or the tools or the time to get it done, and I'd rather have someone who knows what they're doing do it since I'm more likely to measure once and drill thrice.
^ I don't know specifics, but as close to the hill as possible has the best odds of not f'ing it up.
Anyone gotten a good view of Mt. Washington and surrounding peaks yesterday or today? If so, do you think the pemi loop or the presidential traverse is still snow free for a hike tomorrow? Or is the snow lingering? The webcams are all fogged up so I cant tell. The observatory deck looks dry now, but I saw some really white/snowy pics posted on the Mt. Washington Observatory's facebook page. I am aware that it might snow an inch or two tonight, but who knows, supposed to be sunny tomorrow so might be worth a go if there's no real accumulation tonight
The peaks have been in the clouds since yesterday afternoon. However, temperatures have been in the mid 40's with 40-50mph winds for almost 24 hours now. So I would think most of the snow is gone. However, with the temperatures forecast to drop back into the mid-20s tonight and tomorrow I think you would fine some pretty icy hiking.
