DoWork does indeed put in the Work, glad to see some reconigion for your efforts. If time allows Imay join Butta and cut some sticks [and drink a Heddy or 2]
Weather changed again yesterday and the rain held of till 5:30 here. Surface Whore and I rode from 3-5 at bloobs over the freshly fallen leaves. Reds are falling fast but the overall cover is still great, if youwant to see the foliage at its peak, do it soon.
Had an interesting chat with with D******* Hardys right hand man who is doing the hard work building the trails. Find that we share many of the same feelings about the local scene.
looks like 3-4" across the higher elevations of Central VT through Southern ME
Fast Grass Anyone?
That's an isolated number. Not wide spread. Lot of warmth and water in the ground. For that much to accumulate you need cold ground. Prob. just in isolated locations. Fast grass is possible though but don't expect a blanket of white.

hmmm so best guess for that kind of number is probably NE facing slopes above 3000'? I'm not good with weather modeling but is there any model out there that shows this thing bigger then fast grass?

MAYBE NOVEMBER^^^^^^^^^^
october iz looking like some cool nights but pretty warm days for much of it. ullerfest could be sunny t-shirt weather.
NO OCTOBER SNOW, NO OCTOBER SNOW, NO OCTOBER SNOW!!!
snow has no business falling on warm brown ground. and skiing fast grass is kinda dumb and dangerous. may as well go tickle some dragons. guess we pick our potions don't we......:D
checkin' in. blueberry and the kitty all year and lots of touring around the mwv.

never wanted edges more than on that run...or rather on the sketchy traverse across the top of the slide. a patch of strong foliage 3/4 of the way across was my salvation!
yea there were some nice islands of snow on that glass.
exciting day!
EDIT : beautiful pic greg!

yup, thats why skis have edges. as good as the snow oftentimes is that i ski up there all winter, there are some days that are downright character building. it's why it's my favorite place in the world to ski, never boring and you have to be so fucking sharp in yer technique up there. every time i go back to the wasatch and touring i find myself in a continuous yawn. nice fer sure, but just not the same challenge as high prez. oh and LOTS less people:D

ditto, man has a way with the camera.
fuck did i ever get reamed by heavy rain and tropical storm winds on my 13 mile commute home today.
There are a few more pair left to build and one or two not shown here. Bring on the snow.

Thanks,
I'm building for friends and family only right now.........but stay tuned. I need to work out some bugs still but I'm hoping to get to the point that I would be comfortable taking someone's money for profit. I'm not 100% perfect....yet.
