You get one song... one song only to get you going!
Your first ride up, what gets you amped, fired up, totally fuckin’ stoked for your first run?
I think I'll have me a little GNR,
"Welcome to the Muthafreakin Jungle"!!!!!!

zombie - 1965
Metallica - Unforgiven
Good Question...
The rubbery squeaking noise that the cable makes when it goes over the wheels on the lift tower. That combined with the soft rattle that the chair makes.
The roar of my piped 2 stroke hauling ass up the logging road to the skin up.
:D :D :D :D :DQuote:

The caw of a raven mocking me from the branches of a naked aspen, the knocking of those branches as they flex in the wind, the crinkling of ice crystals as they graze my gore-tex membrane, the thwack of my buckles as I lock em down and the squeak of cold dry snow compressing beneath my skis as I skate off toward the abyss.
On a pow day the first Seal album is my ulty mood setter.
ride, leave them all behind
Danzig
Mother
metallica - for whom the bell tolls

or, if im feeling more soulful, U2 joshua tree or air (the older one with sexy boy, kelly reach the stars, etc)
but thats only in the car in the parking lot -- no music for me on chair or snow.
pharcyde - can't keep runnin' away
or any other smooth, flowy beats
Metallica- Nothing Else Matters
Ever since Global Storming, it always reminds me of skiing pow.

Now you can laugh at my dumb pedestrian ass all you want, but I really like that song called All Star by Smashmouth.
Hey now, you're an all star, get your game on, go play
Hey now, you're a rock star, get the show on...
I'd go for some pan pipe music or maybe some Yanni. I also have a cassette of instrumental Frankie Vaughn numbers that gets me mad amped. Other than that I think I'd spend the evening beforehand throwing down a bit of Celine Dion, a smattering of Enya, some Richard Clayderman and a little NKOTB so I'm down with the kids.
Otherwise any old crap by 808 State.
Helmet - Unsung
This song makes me wish my stereo were louder.
System of the Down- Innervision
WHAT! No John Tesh?Quote:

I've yet to experience John Tesh. Is he better than Bill Shatner?
