Quiver diversification: Who needs it!

No matter how hard I try to change things up, and diversify, it seems that I always go back to the same type ski.
For the past two years, my quiver included mostly wooden and titanium boards: 190 Exploders; 184 Mantras; 181 Titan 9s; 190 Gotama and 178 AX4s. I really liked each and every pair of these skis, although the Titan 9s were a bit turny for me.
This year, I was determined to change things up. I sold every pair of the above, and bought 179 Brohemouths; 188 Stiff BROs; 189 Pontoons and XXLs. I flexed the Pontoons, and sold them. For some reason, I sold the XXLs. To date, I have 2 days on the Brohemouths (Alta and Soli), and I LOVE them.
I felt as though I needed a carving ski that would double as my rock ski. This ski would also be ridden in the trees and moguls. Also, I had a pair of P18s laying around with no ski to mount them to. Ebay had a 2004-5 Dynastar Course for $79. Nah. Should I have purchased a "real" carving ski, such as a Tigershark...No way. Maybe, I should go softer (ala Rossi)? Fuck that.
So, what did I buy to compliment my new stable of BROs......

188 Stockli Stormrider SS. Yeah, that's my new hardpack, tree rock and mogul ski.

It's a sickness, I tell ya!!!

Nice work on the SS. If I had a bit more cash, it would be my hardpack, low snow ski of choice as well. For now I alternate between 190 Exploders and 191 Volkl G3's for those duties.....

Once you find a ski that suits your style and you love, ride it as long as possible. It is futile playing around with different skis. Will cost you too much time and money in the end.

It was fun, but I deleted it to protect Ptex from Squatch and SPT (both instigators from where I'm standing). He doesn't want the price out. SPT would have just kept going on and on. IMO, he was starting to cause a potential problem.
I love stirring the pot, but I don't want anyone to actually get hurt by it. SPT, OTOH, is ignorant enough to just keep going and going until someone who actually cares reads the thread and causes a problem.
