After what has been a rediculous wait for local flows, I just wanted to say that I am almost sure of water tomorrow. Yee haw.

Well, actually it probably won't hold for long.
I'm thinking we MIGHT have the Sandy for saturday, chief.
Late boof. The gihon is a great river. This drop is actually just above the first drop in view in your photo. Ran some Ny stuff today. EBAusable was meaty, the Branch river a little south was a bit bumpy, but some nice drops and a beautiful fall day.
that looks super fun.
I've only ww kayaked the white salmon river when we windsurfed at the gorge, rented sit on tops, pretty scarey.
we ran giant ocean kayaks on the river next to berkshire east, western mass, zoar gap and shit.
I wanna try that VT ww shizz.
kitesurfing is my current aqua obsession but that looks really fun.

Cool pic. Let's see more Northeast photos, I don't know shit about that area.
The Gihon is a pretty decent trout stream too, when it runs a bit calmer than that. Sweet pic, what part of the Gihon is that?
The gihon is local bread and butter. Lamoille drainage,it runs alot (for VT), is class 4 with one 5ish rapid. That, North Branch Lamoille in Waterville, North Branch Winooski, Joe's Brook (++++Gem++++), New Haven Ledges. Then there's a bunch of micros that are a step harder in class that I haven't gotton on. Ridley (waterbury), Kenfield (wook choked), Waterman ???, Sterling???. Pretty untapped for the most part. NEVER really see anyone. Then there NH, NY, and Maine. And Maine. And Maine. And Quebec is a whole other country from what I hear.
A couple from yesterday in NY, and a few of the NB'nooski, a local fav.
Some New Haven. Middle pic is Big Branch, So. VT. REALLY popular run lately.
More flow comin....looks like WV is gonna git it big time. B safe on the blackwater, sounds like a serious run.
We just got ours too. Too bad it was during the week and Im out of days off.
I left work at 4 yesterday, drove an hour and a half for 2 very quick laps on familiar Wilson Creek. It was swollen pretty good and the second lap was in the pitch dark. Lack of water for a long time makes you do crazy things.
It looks like not much will hold for the weekend though. Im holding onto this mist that's falling and hoping it at least holds the levels at "scrape down it ok".
Wilson is on my list. I was down there last spring and ended up on Big Laurel instead. Wilson look really fun.
Nice levels for tomorrow. Should be great boatin' in VT/NH/NY/Ma/Me.
Nice pics Dave, good to see some NE paddlers on this board. Really liked those shots from Fall Creek I saw the other day.
