STH16 or 916?
May seem like a stupid question, but valid to me.
Gonna go on my new Legends. Since they are pretty heavy to begin with is the only reason Im considering the STH. Not a weight weeny by any means.
Im going to be going big and hard and need something to keep up. Ive never had problems with previous 914s so I dont have too many concerns with plastic.
I know they havent been tested and tried. But since Im already going with a 16 spring and going huge, should I just keep them metal, or would plastic serve me just as well and shed some weight.
So yeah which one?
For ref Im 170lbs.

His Dudeness,
You'll do fine with the STH 16. It's not all plastic. The core and base of the toe are metal, which lends rigidity and durability, and the heel has some metal reinforcing too (metal base, track, worm screw, five screws, etc). This really is the mutant offspring of a 914 crossed with a 916. The weight savings is nice, however, I'd go with whichever you can get cheapest. If the STH is close in price to what you can find 916s for, then get it.

Thanks Bossass.
Im certainly not made of money so of course whichever one is cheaper is the one Ill be leaning towards. I just wanted to know if the STH will do the job I require as I have a Solly prodeal and can hopefully get one of the two on that deal(theyve been stingey with what they put in the prodeal the last few years).
