A couple of weeks ago I decided to get a video camera and a helmet camera to record this season's antics. At first I thought I wanted to go the HD route with either the Cannon HV-10 or the Sony HD cam. After talking to some people, however, I've been convinced that it's probably more important to get a good 3 chip standard def camera than one of the consumer HD video camera's - what do you guy's think, I've heard the HV-10 sucks in low light and I'm not too stoked about having to spend 800 bucks on the sony so should I just go with a standard def camera?
