That's an odd question.
Do you mean getting caught in an avalanche? I have no experience with that, thank jahbuddahchristallah.
I don't recommend it unless you've got an air tight one piece Bogner. I couldn't control my speed and I'm still pissed off about the smashed up mixture of banana and peanut butter and jelly that ruined my brand new Jansport backpack.
Yeah,Like getting freight-trained by your sluff. Or skiing out of a Slab Fracture.
one time at seven springs i skied through a pile of beer cans in the middle of a blue square trail. it was a scary because i almost lost my balance and would have surely abraded my stretch pants. the bus ride home that night would have been really embarassing if my pants were all scuffed up and stuff.
hopefully the ski safety patrol tracked down that scoundrel and put a warning notch in his/her ticket, or at least provided a refresher on common courtesy! debris of any kind on the slopes can be really dangerous, but that's obvious- right?
Yer one extremo mountain dude...dude.Quote:

Bed can't hold anything longer than a snowlerblade and the cupholders are wank.
are you looking for tips on what to do if an avy starts while you are skiing? Kiss your ass goodbye. do you want a good story? are you looking to tell one? I've been in 5,it appears you've been in 0. are you just an extremo mountain jong? Extreme no,just in the wrong place. what da fack gives with the question? I thought that w/ as many skiers on this board that a few of them had been in Av's. My mistake.Quote:

Interloper - you're right. Quite a few of us have been caught in avies and quite a few of us have lost close friends in them. It's rather a sensitive subject and people are often guarded in their response to such threads. If you'd given a little background as to why you wanted to know etc you probably wouldn't have elicited quite so many facetious responses nor would you have ended up patronising Tap quite so badly.
When in doubt, point it out... Or something like that.
I didn't realize it was that senstive to the maggots. My apologies to all concerned. Perhaps I should listern more and speak less. Thanks bad_roo.
