BD T7 Shovel in Da Kine Chute pack

Planning on updating my "back up" shovel this fall. Other one is an Ortovox Expert which is probably the burliest one out there so this one can be lighter.

I was planning on getting the BD T7 until I noticed the dimensions online - 10.3"x15" or thereabouts. This shovel will live in my Da Kine Chute pack so I measured the shovel pocket and it seems to be just barely 10" wide.

No one in town seems to have their shovels out yet to try this myself.

So, two questions:
Has anyone used the T7 shovel in a Da Kine pack?

Does anyone have the T3? What do you think? Too small or just right?

why not just go with the voile telepro? i got one last winter and it rocks.
