You can ski in October, really?

What is this 'white ribbon' that is rumored to be on display in October?

When I asked my friend who actually skis, he said that some resorts open in October, and people actually go skiing then.

I can't believe it would be good. Personally, I wait until mid-December until all of my favorite groomers are open. I don't know why anyone would want to ski in October.

I was just trying to get some people to talk about skiing at loveland, but I guess it didn't work.

Alright, now I feel bad for you. I'll tell you about the skiing at Loveland:

There are chairlifts there that people get on (usually with skis or a board or something similar attached to their feet). There are runs cut through the trees, and people ski on them!!!! It even snows sometimes.

Pretty crazy, huh?
