I was looking for a set of these and one guy finally got back with me. They are the purple vintage so I assume wood core. Supposedly they have 80 days on them. How much life is left in a set of these with 80 days on them. He want $200 with some beat 14 din 900's. I can forward some rather large images if anyone is interested.
I had a pair of the orange foam core ones. They may have softened up just a bit within the first 20 days I put on em, but pretty much kept their flex for about 100 days, at which point they turned to complete noodles over the span of just a couple days on em.
I think the wood core ones should be a lot better. I scored a pair of the same purple ones you're talking about (new though) and expect em to last me a while, although I don't have any first hand info as far as the wood core goes.
they should last OK, but they all have salmon's weak sidewalls.
