What is almost a Goat, but isn't a Goat?

Hmm. What I really, really want for Xmas is a Gotama 183. However, I am realizing that one is not going to appear magically before me for a great price. (If you have a used one in great shape you want to sell, please let me know ASAP)

What other skis would be the closest equivalent, almost matching in flex, sidecut, weight,... everything.

I would like it to be close enough to be like the coke commercial, guilty of "taste infringement."

Ideally, it would also be available for a great price, but right now, I am just trying to find what skis to look for.

try a sheep. Or if you are feeling exotic maybe a llama. If you need something fatter I'd suggest a hippo, but those can be hard to find and carry significant risk.

The Voile Carbon Surf is exactly the same ski (made in the same moulds just with a different top sheet) and can be had for far less if you look around.

Maybe a K2 Maiden AK or a Fischer Watea 05/06(Blue)?

4FRNT VCT 182cm. 1mm narrower throughout. Flex is different though.

get the new bluehouse verdicts on sep 1. at 250 you cant beat that price.

if the OP wants some though, Ive got some 183s in minty mint condish for 100+ship.

id also reccomend the 182 VCTS, 181 P4s, or those 187 bluehouses.

You have 183s of the Voile Carbon Surf or my dream Xmas Gotamas? If the Goats, I will go for it in a heartbeat.

I've been told the Line Prophet 100 skis similarly to the goat.

Blizzu Big Akira... Can be had with Blizzu rebagged Jester or Duke.

Similar = Nordica blower, Scott P4, Ninthward THA

Go mow a few lawns...and get the Goats.
