Specialized Warranty?
um, so the rear suspension linkage decided to crack all the way along the weld on my Stumpjumper FSR. this greatly angers me and i was wondering how long the warranty would be on a thing like that? my bike is the '05 model with the really shitty Black fork.
oh, and upon further inspection, i cant find the gal-darn reciept for the bitch, and the shop i bought it in in chicago says they dont keep reciepts on file, which i do not believe for a second

They'll handle it
Contact Specialized directly. They'll most likely take good care of you.

Actually they will tell you to go to a Specklized dealer, they don't ship directly to the consumer. Can you post a pic of the bad piece? I have some linkage parts here in the shop I work at.

I broke a chainstay on my 05 Enduro this spring. It was a non issue with Specialized they took care of me. I bought the bike in Canada and broke it down in Moab. Rim Cycle down there was even willing to fix it for me under warranty, but wouldn't of been able to get the part in on time. Not having a receipt for the bike shouldn't even be an issue, the fact is it's a 3 year old bike and part of the frame broke....I don't think you'll have a problem, like the other guy said contact Specialized yourself.
