Being REALLY good at it. I was at the water ramps this weekend and the guy throwing down the biggest (including a quad backflip, which I have never seen before) was a snowblader. I thought he must have been a skier just training on snowblades for some reason but talking to him I found out he actually snowblades. He then did a very snowblade specific trick of launching a big air with a jump rope and went flyng while "skipping rope" through the air. I don't know if it was impressive, funny, gay, or all three.

The first time I ever hiked Baldy, I happened upon a monoskier's birthday party at the top of Baldy. They had party hats and a case of beer up there and were passed out against the rescue sled. I've skied with Turbo. Gay or not, he's pretty fucking fast on a powder day. He got 4th at the Derby once and I don't think many of you guys could beat him down.
