As you can see from the picture below on the cruel hike up we had to endure a brutal creek with many flowers below the snowpatch: http://www.loloville.com/081207rts7766.jpg
It wasn't all that great when we got there, but it was great getting there. Added on some more August turns and can see some possibilites for September.

Is it my imagination, or is your snow patch growing. The pictures make it lookm bigger now than July 15th TR.

I think that I'm incorporating your idea to ski them in order to make them last longer. Thanks.

I was going to ask if you have anything better to do with your time, then I saw you are from Topaz and answered my own question, carry on!
Cool shots skier666.
Air recon is a great way to find snow patches.
I have a shot of the same area from August 7, 2004: http://www.loloville.com/126-2645_IMG.JPG
Kirkwood on the same day: http://www.loloville.com/126-2639_IMG.JPG
It is interesting how the snow fills in differently in certain areas from year to year and how some places fill with snow consistantly from year to year.
Did you get a view of the "October Patch" at the foot of the Sisters near Roundtop Lake? Is it still holding snow?

Vets, I saw the october patch about 3 weeks ago and it was pretty narrow but long enough to be skiable. I don't know about now, though.

Nice one Vets. Will there be anything skiable next week. I'm in town from tuesday onwards and I need to ski this month!

I'll probably go on a recon mission up there tomorrow.
Roundtop should have at least 4 small skiable patches left for a while.
Saddlebag/Kook Chute is also still possible, but would involve a bit more effort.
