i had no plans to ski but took off for copper once I saw they reported 8" this morning. not crowded and just enough snow to make things pretty fun. I skied solo, and had a good time tracking out Far East, which I was technically poaching I guess....not sure why they always close this run in the spring, but its a good stash. heh. gave a guy a good scare and told him he wasn't allowed to be skiing there. lol.
anyways, nothing spectacular, but decent none the less.
any other CO reports?
I stayed here to go climbing and then it snowed. :( oops.
Breck was nice yesterday, in a "damn I didn't even know it was supposed to snow" kind of way. Scraped the hard frozen underneath a few times, but for the most part it was soft.
Heading back up this morning- anyone else?
Yep....me too!! Rolled outta the rack at 8:00 and checked the ski report and saw 8 inches and hopped in the Saturn. Also skied solo, hung under Super Bee and A lift mostly and it was just deep enough to hide the frozen stuff below. Bit breezy on top and those squalls would blow in quickly but when the sun came out it ruled! It was nice to get some winter again......Quote:
