I have an old Mongoose sniper with a rag tag bunch of parts on it, I'd be willing to part with the frame for $50, $100 to take the whole bike (has everything on it except for a seat and seatpost).
I suck at bmx riding, but I do own one. My only advice if you are coming from a mountain bike would be get the longest top tube you can find. 21" and up would ease the transition between bikes greatly. The longest tt frame I know of in bmx is the macneil deuce deuce which is (you guessed it) 22 inches. If you are small you could go shorter but anything below 20.5 is really meant for kids.
Year: Hmm....98 or 99?
Pics: Not at the moment, but I can get some in the next couple days possibly.
anyone every hear anything about rockstar bikes?
are they any good?
check out some of the fit completes, they are really killer bikes for the money, as well as some easterns. Fit flow completes are pretty bomber and a sick deal.
