What would you do to make this photo excellent?

I love this photo, but I am sure it can be better.
I just love the head shake action.

What would you change?

Maybe a slightly tighter crop, especially on the left, that rag is fairly uninteresting.

Can't think of much else to improve on without taking a new photo.

I would photoshop in a giant blob of slobber projectiling out of his mouth! a la turner and hooch

That is a great moment and a good capture!

Tighter crop is the first thing I thought of too. Maybe a little increase in contrast to make the dogs stand out a little more from the background? That's just about all I do to my pictures anyways.

Though it would be better with Jessica Alba and Mélissa Theuriau substitued for the dogs...
Other than that, maybe a blurrier and more contrasted (ie brighter green, so the left dog would stick out more) back ground ?
