It's the end of the season, or at least it's a sign of spring. In all my years of ski bumming I've never had a powder day on St. Patty's day. I've gotten drunk of course, and eventually I'll get drunk today, but it won't be a happy drunk it'll be an old school country western wife left me and took the truck and my dog died kind of drunk cus even though I'm sure I still have some excellent days left both on the mountain and in the bc, the end is near friends, the end is near.
I hat emotherfuckers who think their goddamn tradition is reason to pinch me for not wearing green. Usually I punch those people. This year I got a green marker and wrote "SUCK IT!" on my hand.
May 15th last year, after a sub-par year down here, it's not over, just warmer.

I was skiing balls deep pow pow on st. pats day last year during the blizzard. The past few st. pats days here have been pretty good.Quote:

St. Patty's is off to a good start here. A foot of pow and no crowds, plus a fully functional kegerator, and its still snowing. Now if only my roomie would come home so we could go out and get dollar guinesses. Oh, and my new skis just came. Only down point was ripping my ski pants on a tree and injuring my ass after I shot off a lip with no where to go in the woods.
