Huh. I thought they grew up in Brooklyn and will shank me for no reason at all.
It would make sense if Mormons came to Utah to be closer to the Tabernacle and such, while skiers came to be closer to the "greatest snow on Earth." It just seems like even if you are there for another reason, you'd tap the state's best natural resource.

All of my family skis and pretty much all of my exteneded family skis or tries to ski when they can-so do all of their friends and family that live here.
There are way more LDS people that ski or board in this state than the one, two or three that you must be referring to.

That's what I like about skiing Sundays at Targhee...it is often much less crowded than saturday, or in the afternoons that the Rick's kids come to ski.
I don't mind most mormons, I just can't stand the ones keep who trying to convert me, and don't look at situations from other points of view. I was raised Catholic, and I always looked at situation from another point of view, to get an accurate view.
I am stunned when people in SLC don't even go up LCC to hike, camp, or just to get out the city heat. I understand skiiing costs a lot of money, but most people in other cities are stunned when I tell them about this, when they have to travel a lot further to get into the wild.
