Yeah. Just hand tighten them-no drill. You may get spinners and at that point you have a few options.
guy at shop wont remount w/ old solly holes....
I've always found it depends on they type of core and metal, re-using holes in old nordi w105s or axioms, sure, pocket rockets, questionable. Worst case scenario, it rips out, you fall, you mount forward or back a centimeter, life goes on (provided the fall didn't kill you)

If you're re-using old holes... who cares if the shop won't do the mount? Do it yourself. Super super easy.
If the holes seem decently tight, use wood glue. If they're a bit sloppy, use epoxy.

Hmmm... I've been skiing on a pair for a couple days that I just screwed back in (seems tight enough). Should I take them out again and add wood glue?Quote:
