I think the guy should take it up a notch and ride the actual longest escalator in Europe which is 124m long (Moscow metro), compared to the london metro's in the video at 60m.
Or better yet, the longest in the world in Hong Kong at 224m or the other one in Hong Kong that's 800m, but has interruptions. Now that would be awesome

Yep. I read in one of the papers this evening that London Underground want to press charges. The language in the article was interesting though. Words like 'hurled himself' and 'threw himself' describing how he went down the escalator. They were obviously trying to emphasise the reckless nature.
I just wish I'd been there to see it but that would mean straying "norf of the river" (shudder).
