Playing with Adobe Lightroom

I recently started playing with Lightroom and I love it. The Library Module itself is worth the price of admission. It allows you to Keyword, Categorize and rank images, which is killer if you have a big library.

Anyway i took a this shot of my Golden with my 6mp Canon Rebel DSLR in .RAW and imported it to LR.

After it imported, i dialed down the exposure, made it a bit warmer abd corrected the white balance and added some contrast.

I really like the way you can eaily adjust HSL and used that to bring out more of the drowns in his coat. I flipped the image and added some Vignetting and ended up with this in about 15 minutes.

unfortunately, you lose much of the details compressing images for the web. I'll try a conversion to b/w next.
