Help with my Tele turn...
I know....
*JONG!*
I spent some time yesterday working on my Telemark turn.
I noticed a problem that I need some help with.
I'd ask on Telemark tips, but I registered over a week ago, and I have not been authorized on that board...
:cussing:
Anyhow, I have oticed that I tend to favor my left leg. When I drop the knee on my left leg, I can Tele turn just fine, and I am confident making LEFT turns. I can push into the uphill ski and make it carve all day long. Again, very confident with it. Works great.
However,
When I drop my right knee, it feels kind of like I have a some marshmallows between my toes and the boot, and I am having a VERY hard time edging the uphill ski when I make the right turn.
Any tips?
Also, my left boot has a power strap, my right boot doesn't (well, neither actually do, I sort of McGuyver'd it and am using some Cam straps).
Do power straps really make THAT much of a difference?
Thanks!
