I just got new boots and they are a touch smaller so have been adjusting the quiver. I get to my Libs and they have the Axial2 heels, these are different from the old axial heel.
My question -
Do they adjust similar to solly bindings where you push up the tab and slide forward? or is it something else.
I just dont want to do something stupid and break them.
Pretty much. IME, you pry the tab up with a flathead and move the heelpiece on the track in a weird coordinated movement. You have to drop it between the indexes in the track. Just make sure the little indicator is between the limits and showing in the window.
It's an inferior system to the prior vintage Axials IMO, which allowed you to adjust forward pressure very accurately, with a wormdrive style adjustment.

Thats what I thought, it seemed like some plastic was chipping off when I tried it. I just didnt want to be digging away at my damn bindings only to find out I was doing it wrong.
You shouldn't have to chip away plastic to get it done. Perhaps use something a different tool to pry the tab up.Quote:

I got it, just wasnt prying it up far enough. I do agree its much easier to set the pressure with a screw, although I honestly have not noticed a difference in performance between the old and new styles.Quote:
