2/26 Snowbird Video & Photo Stoke

Saturday was so good that I was thinking that it couldn't get much better... Today BLEW Saturday away. I really have no adjectives to properly describe today but I do have photo and video.

it was the best day so far this year IMO.

How I do wish I was there. Make some turns for me tomorrow. I won't be skiing till at least friday.

As an PNW skier, I would normally read that sort of post with a cross between envy and inadequacy. Not this time!! I'm headed to Alta on Thurs afternoon. I'm psyched to follow-up this last huge week in the PNW, with a trip to Utah. Life is good. :cool:

its hard, I like to think of it like this. If I stop 10 times during the day, I will probably miss one lap, however, I personally would rather miss one lap and have the memories as well as physical, tangible photos to look back on when i'm 80 years old and looking back on life. Besides, if nobody stops, who provides the stoke????

Well... I have a pretty dialed in slingpack/backpack rig that lets me pull out my camera, shoot and put it away VERY quickly. And it's like Soul Skier said... "Ask not what the stoke can do for you, ask what you can do for the stoke." or something like that.

HOWEVER... it still sort of sucks to stop 2-3 times per run in Mineral on a day like yesterday.

What says it better than this?????????:D
