I'm pretty excited! This is the first new car I've ever owned.
It's a V6 Toyota RAV4. The ski rack will be going up top shortly :)

That thing looks suspiciously like a disguised mini-van ;)
Congrats on the new ride!
Umm.... I don't see any TGR stickers on it yet.
Congrats on the new ride!
Nice ride! I just bought the same thing, but with the 4 cylinder. I love Toyotas.
Do you and your partner fight over who gets to ride butch? I mean bitch.
Oh yeah, nice ride, AD. Looks like you might have had it off the pavement a bit already, no? (judging by the tires)
look at that shine, i wish my car was new instead of payments i got repair bills
I try to stay away from anything steeper than 1%. burrr.Quote:
LOL I used to think that shit when I bought my Jeep Wrangler in 2000. Turns out you don't save much gas when you have to drive in 4th gear to maintain 75mph or climb a 1% grade requires 3rd gear.
It's hella steep. Truckers fear the dreaded 1% grade
i dunno....chick-ish?...ghey?
no?
I rock a 4 cylinder Toyota and I am not ashamed.
If it's chickish or gay--so be it. I spent a lot of time researching vehicles and this is the one that came out on top as far as the factors I was concerned about. I'll be putting my rainbow sticker on the rear window tomorrow :)
I went with the V6 because the fuel mileage figures are so close between the 4 cylinder and the 6 (23/27 vs. 21/28). Pretty amazing the highway figure is actually one mpg higher for the six cylinder (the 4 has a four-speed tranny and the 6 has a five). 90% of my driving is highway, I'd say. The 270 hp with regular unleaded on a vehicle that cost under $25K made this pretty difficult to resist!
