NO hippy has a softer flex
Incorrect. Hippy Stinx and Seth are both fir cores, same exact triaxial braided torsion box construction, same flex, same edges, and same die-cut bases. The Hippy, aside from a different graphic, has inserts. That is the only true distinction between the two. Unlike the rest of the K2 tele series, which DO have a softer flex, the Piste Pipe and the Hippy Stinx share not only the same mold as their alpine brethren, but also the same wood cores and construction. K2 would prefer you not know this, however.
the piste pipe is the same as the enemy, BUT retains the old polycarb topsheet material of the older p.e.'s while the 06 model onwards went to ptex to increase stiffness and strength
